An unusual appeal has been made by Strelitzia HQ for help tracing an unlikely group of cheeky culprits who are loose in the floristry community.
Ahead of the Christmas holidays, MD Mark has issued an appeal, to florists up and down the UK asking for help to find 5 mischievous elves who have escaped their clutches at their head office in Hurworth, Darlington.
The bizarre incident happened on Sunday evening as Amy, Business Development Director, noticed some tampering with the Christmas tree she had put up in the office the night before. The elves were detained and a plan was underway for her to escort them back to the North Pole, until they escaped.
Katie, Brand, Marketing and Development Director (and Head of Christmas Security), said “We realise this is absurd, we are just as surprised at what has happened here. We have received a tip off that they may try to infiltrate our social media so we would like to ask everyone to look closely at our social media pages over the coming month. We know this gang of mini mayhem makers is out there and we are offering rewards for safe sightings of each one of them.”
Katie continued “We really don’t want any more mysterious goings on, we are all looking forward to a peaceful, joyful Christmas this year, so it is a priority to send the gang back to Santa as soon as possible. We are delighted to be able to offer a reward in return for the help of our amazing community of florists. Every time you comment on a post to alert us of a sighting, you will be placed in a draw for a prize.
Not only do we ask you to alert us on social media, the team urge you to enlist the help of your child in collecting evidence. Please do not approach these elves, we can’t say if they will be naughty or nice. Instead ask the young person to draw them for us and send their evidence to the team at info@strelitziasoftware.com. If you submit evidence you will be placed in a draw to receive a selection box!
