Amy started out in the FMCG market and worked as a brand manager introducing international brands to supermarkets and later managing a chain of 150 pubs.
As the floristry industry has a habit of doing, it wasn’t long before Amy was drawn back to join the family business!
Amy brings with her a wealth of knowledge of how to run a successful business. She is the queen of spreadsheets and is driven to create the best version of Strelitzia as possible.
Amy is your woman if you need help with spreadsheets, numbers and business plans. She’s a dab hand with stem counts, too (watch out for this new feature, coming soon!).

Katie once said she was never joining the family business… then she went to Uni and studied journalism, but also got a part-time job in a florist shop around the corner.
It was there she realised that the florist industry was in her blood, there was no getting away from it! Katie has worked for The Florist Magazine, then went on to be Editor-in-Chief of the British Florist Association’s quarterly magazine.
Using her knowledge of what it’s like to work in a florist business, Katie heads up our Brand and Marketing, whilst also steering new Strelitzia features alongside Mark.

Matt has been a vital part of the Strelitzia Team for a fair few years now!
He’s seen Strelitzia transform from the legacy computer-based system to the cloud platform we have today, and like Mark, has helped hundreds of florists run their businesses more successfully.
Matt is your first port of call for help with Strelitzia, and we’re pretty sure some florists (you know who you are) have him on speed dial. He can help with anything from printer problems to software help, or even if you just want a chat. Conversation starter – he’s a big lover of cricket!

Sally runs our sister company, Flowers by Nattrass and is one of the best florists in town!
She holds an NDSF, has demonstrated floristry at the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show, has produced Floristry Design Books and has to her name an impressive list of national competition successes.
Sally is our head Beta-Tester at Strelitzia and test-runs new versions of the software in Flowers by Nattrass before releasing them.
Sally is your go-to for advice on all thing’s floristry admin. She can instantly create wedding quotes and knows which flowers are your best buy, depending on the time of year.

Mark is our MD and co-founder of Strelitzia.
He’s helped hundreds of florists since the start of Strelitzia in 2006, and he’s not stopping now! Mark’s background is in horticulture. He and his wife Sally met at the Welsh College of Horticulture (as it was known back in the day!) and went on to run a chain of 3 florist shops, a market garden and even grow a few of the varieties of flowers they sold.
Mark keeps our developers on track and is continually making sure Strelitzia is the very best it can be. With lots of new projects in the pipeline, Mark makes sure we keep driving forwards.
Mark’s knowledge of the industry is vast. From the best Dutch wholesalers to how to source unique sundries, Mark’s your guy!
