Established in 1982, Pinks Florists is an ever growing, thriving florist located in the busy Spires Shopping Centre. Natasha took over the business in 2017, having previously been an employee. Since the age of 16, she worked her way up, starting with sweeping the floors and ending up as Director of Pinks. She has continued to develop a strong interest in the florist world both creatively and more importantly behind the scenes of how a good florist should run.
Since taking over Pinks Florists, Natasha’s goal was to bring a new, contemporary feel to an already successful florist. Firstly she re-branded the company and updated its colour scheme, introduced a larger variety of flowers and plants and expanded the business into the events and weddings sector of floristry.
So, what does Natasha think of Strelitzia, and how does the system help her run Pinks?
“Strelitzia is easy to use, and as it’s cloud-based I can access my orders from anywhere. It doesn’t matter if I’m at home, out and about or in the shop all my orders are at my fingertips.
“Before we used Strelitzia, there was the risk of orders written down on paper going missing or getting destroyed by spillages. Now that risk has gone! The delivery feature is another fail-safe – if an order gets missed during the make-up process, it’s on the delivery list so we catch it at that point.
“My favourite features are the order-taking process and the delivery list. It’s so easy and quick to create routes in the vans, especially during peak periods.
“Matt and Archie in customer service are great and always happy to help. They’re always quick to solve any issues I may have or fast at answering questions. Thanks guys!
“From the outset our business policy was, and remains today, to consistently supply our customers with the best fresh cut flowers and plants that we can buy at the best possible price with the emphasis always on freshness, quality and service. Strelitzia hugely helps us with the service side of things – we have a professional outlook with the ability to send our customers email receipts and have information such as previous delivery address and items to hand.”
