We have some Tricks and Treats to help your Halloween flower sales.
Think scary flower arrangements
Get creative and try some new creative pieces. Make a few extra show-stopping flower arrangements and hand them out to local places of interest that you know gets a lot of foot fall, such as a local busy hairdresser, your local pub or even a local restaurant that matches your client base.
Top Tip: Have you thought about donating unusual flowers to your local schools. Kids always notice things a little more unusual and you can even ask schools to send home your flyers.
Window Display
Make your window display stand out. Give people passing by a reason to stop, and even come into your shop. When people walk past your shop, first impressions count so make it as spooky as you can.
Top Tip: Go one step further and add spooky signage to your display, inviting them to come in at look at your Halloween and Autumn flowers.
Go Halloween accessory crazy
During any holiday, people are always looking for little extras they can take away with them. Think of items that are easy and quick to sell such as candles, or even Halloween baskets. You can even work alongside local sellers and create a small stand outside of the shop or near your till area.
Top Tip: Get as many Halloween accessories as you can. Create a one stop shop for anyone passing by.
Think venue sales
Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and introduce yourself to local hotels, business venues and restaurants. Explain how fantastic your Halloween pieces are and ask them if they would like to see any you have made previously or if they would like anything for over the Halloween season. Use Strelitzia to help you organise your corporate sales orders.
Host a Spellbinding Flower Workshop
Any holiday seasons are exciting, and Halloween is no exception. People always love to get creative over the holidays. Why not put on some fun workshops and teach people to make some fun pieces such as Halloween arrangements, like adding flowers to a pumpkin or even decorating a Halloween wreath. Whatever you do, take lots of photographs and share on Facebook and Instagram.
Update your Website website
Make sure to update both your website and Strelitzia with your great Halloween arrangements and other seasonal items you have for sale.
Play dress up
Why not have everyone dress up. People love it when retailers join in the fun, and it’s sure to get customers in. Even have one of your employees stand outside offering spooky treats or even offering discounts on smaller flower items and accessories.
