Happy Sunday everyone, I haven’t written a blog for a little while so I thought I’d pen one this afternoon.
It’s been a little while since my last blog, so I hope you are all doing well and seeing as though I haven’t been inundated with phone calls asking when the next one will be published I will take it that I haven’t been missed too much! Anyway, you’re reading this so they can’t be too bad.
What was the first thing you did this morning when you woke up? If you’re anything like me it would have been to pick up your phone and start the daily hunt for information. This usually starts with a quick check of my emails, followed by Twitter to see what’s going on in the world and then a few minutes on Facebook too. Obviously this is done through blurry eyes and a multitude of snoozes of the alarm clock, but none the less my quest for information (and my phone) are never too far away.
So, Christmas is already less than a month away. Decorations are starting to appear in people’s homes and the shops are playing Christmas songs, all not acceptable until the very earliest of the 1st of December, may I add, but they are here anyway!
So it’s been a busy, yet competitive afternoon in the Strelitzia office as Katie and Matt challenged each other to produce the scariest pumpkin possible.
Can you believe another month is just about over and done with, this year is absolutely flying by! We are having a fantastic year here at Strelitzia HQ although it was great to get out of the office and finally meet some of our customers at FleurEx.
Last week saw me pass a first major anniversary with Strelitzia as I passed a full year with the team. I cannot believe how quickly the year has gone and just how much I have learnt over the course of the year.
Wow, a heatwave you say? Yes please. As I sit and write this month’s blog, I can see the lovely blue skies out the window, in fact I have just walked to the shop and can testify it is bloody lovely out there.
Here we are again, the time of the month I have to sit down and actually think about what to write for a few minutes. And yes, it was hard and I have a headache now! Only joking, I enjoy writing these monthly blogs and letting you all know what is going on at Strelitzia HQ.
So another month has come and gone, where is this year going? And we are supposed to be getting into the summer now, although we had a hail storm at Strelitzia HQ yesterday, so that’s not going to well. I’ve even had to sneak the heating back on this morning (don’t tell Mark!) otherwise my hands might have been too cold to type this.
