In our latest blog we spoke to Lorna Brooks, the owner of Fullers Flowers who’s Flower shop has a very unique and interesting style. Lorna is also the 5th generation of her family to work and run the shop so keep reading below to hear her very interesting story!
We’ve got a new member of the team here at Strelitzia HQ so we would like to introduce you to Charlet.
Firstly, what a hectic summer. For all you Strelitzia members out there I hope we have made the wedding season that little bit easier, and the stress a little bit less!
Moving into Autumn things aren’t slowing down here at Strelitzia HQ. Matt and I are being worked to the bone by Mark who wants to move into our 10th (!?) anniversary year in style, kicking off at BFA FleurEx this October. I’m sat here writing this having a well earned pint! We have all sorts of goodies to bring with us, along with exciting videos of some of our happy customers, and we can’t wait to see you all there.
Follow one of our florists journey from the first time they heard of Strelitzia to months after having it installed!
‘Our Florist’ is back after a little summer break! And for this edition we have slightly revamped the format for a special insight into one of our more recent customers and their journey from thinking about Strelitzia, to the installation and the training of the system.
Having an e-commerce website is not a luxury for any business today, but a necessity.
It allows you open your doors wider to potential customers all round the world that otherwise may not have found you. Your website is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
One of the first things I wrote for Strelitzia was a blog about my first three weeks here at Strelitzia HQ and I remember writing how quickly that time had gone by. Well fast forward to four months into the job and the same sentiment applies.
After the success of last week’s blog, which was written by Bev from The Ashton Flower Shop, we are bringing you the second instalment of this brand new feature. We like this feature here at Strelitzia because we feel it lets you see what our florists truly think of us and also lets our florists have their say about the pros of our software.
This week we are bringing you a fantastically enthusiastic blog by Donna who runs Flowers by Arrangement in the lovely Welsh city of Swansea. Donna has also written a mammoth blog about her experiences when she first installed Strelitzia, which we will bring you at some point in the future. In the meantime please enjoy what she has wrote today and let us know what you think of her blog or if you would like to feature too!
The supermarkets are stocked full of pumpkins, plastic spiders covered in cob webs have started to appear outside houses and the clocks have gone back; this can only mean one thing, it’s Halloween. Before you know it kids will be knocking on your door, “The sky is blue, the grass is green….”
We have a great support network available, so when new customers sign up for the Strelitzia system, they are not on their own. After installation, Mark and Judith will be available to do regular training 2 or 3 times a week and be available for as long as required. Even after the initial training period is over, support is available for refresher training, quick reminders on areas you are unsure of or if it is a technical issue to do with Strelitzia, then Steve our IT director is always available.
