At this year’s RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year competition 3 out of the 16 competitors were Strelitzia users:

The brief this year was to create a Spring Wedding Throne, and the official schedule states that fresh flower and/ or plant material must be visually dominant and make up at least 2/3 of the finished design. There was also a nod to designs being eco-friendly.

BFA Vision 2018 – Round up.

Last weekend the Strelitzia team set sail for Leicester and pitched up at BFA Vision 2018. We had a fantastic weekend meeting lots of you wonderful florists and enjoying all of the speakers on Sunday. Here at Strelitzia, it’s been a crazy few months, and we re-launched at BFA Vision Business Conference with our brand-new logo, and the first sneak-peak of our new software. It was so great to see so many like-minded florists at what was, the best Vision conference yet.

The information and advice available on the GDPR legal requirements coming into play on the 25th May 2018 is enough to make your head spin.

For those of you that don’t know, the GDPR is regulations on how you collect, store and use your customer data. It’s important to note that this is not a new data protection obligation. It replaces and mirrors the previous requirement to have ‘appropriate technical and organisational measures’ under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the 1998 Act).
